Frequently asked

Got a question? Here are some of the most common ones we hear.

Yes. We hold a NSW electrical contractor licence and carry comprehensive public liability and workers compensation insurance. All work is performed by or under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

We provide upfront, itemised quotes before starting any work. For straightforward jobs we can often quote over the phone or by email. For larger jobs we'll visit the site first.

For non-urgent work we typically book within 1–3 business days. We also take on urgent and same-day jobs where our schedule allows — call us directly for fastest response.

We service all of Sydney, including the Hills District, Western Sydney, Inner West, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Sutherland Shire, and South West Sydney. If you're unsure, just ask.

Saturday appointments are available by arrangement. For genuine electrical emergencies (loss of power, burning smell, sparking) please call us directly.

A Level 1 electrician handles all standard residential and commercial electrical work inside the property. A Level 2 electrician is additionally accredited to work on the service wiring between your property and the Ausgrid or Endeavour network — this includes work at the meter box, overhead service lines, and underground cables.

A tripping breaker usually means a circuit is overloaded, there's a short circuit somewhere, or a faulty appliance is drawing too much current. Try unplugging devices one at a time to identify the cause. If it persists or you're unsure, it's best to have an electrician inspect it — ongoing tripping can indicate a wiring issue that needs attention.

Test smoke alarms monthly using the test button. Smoke alarms have a 10-year lifespan and should be replaced when they expire (the date is printed on the back). Under NSW regulations, all homes must have working smoke alarms — we can check, test, and replace them for you.
